About the Product – Around 20 crores of people in our country go to bed hungry every day, including many children. One such child’s plight had a profound impact on Chitresh’s life.
While traveling in a taxi, he came across a small girl eating wet chapati in the rain.
This incident brought to light the severity of the hunger problem in India. After extensive research, Chitresh realized that changing people’s attitudes were more critical than simply throwing money at the problem.
Having been interested in art since childhood, he decided to incorporate his artistic skills into his solution.
He began creating decorative and functional dinnerware, which can be used in the microwave oven and dishwasher, as well as gift items such as candles, in collaboration with artists from all over the world.
For every plate sold, the company sponsors 10 meals, and they have already sold 30,000 plates and sponsored 5.5 lakhs meals. Chitresh’s ultimate goal is to sponsor 25 lakh meals by 2025.
